Three of us did a day trip with Bronze & Boru from Galway through Connemara. Brendan was on time and gracious. We didn't want to conquer the world so he kept it reasonable, but we saw pretty much everything. Importantly, Brendan provided a lot of informative background and history without over talking. Totally fun day and worth every euro. Plus, a sweet Mercedes Benz.

Our lively group of four couples stepped into the luxury Sprinter van and began our amazing week traveling across Ireland. Richard, our driver, guide, and historian was awesome! He drove us safely and smoothly. He made us feel that we were the most important customers he ever hosted. It was so nice not worrying about driving, parking, or navigating. If we had one word to describe our weeklong tour of Ireland with Richard from “Bronze and Boru”, it would be “AWESOME”!! From the moment we made initial contact with co-owner, Brendan until Richard dropped us for at our final destination in Belfast, we were treated with the travel experience of a lifetime, made even better by a week of glorious sunshine! Richard, an all-around great guy with a commanding knowledge of Irish history, strived to make each day an adventure for us and was extremely patient with the many questions the six of us threw at him! You can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing and is a pleasure to be with. While we had a rough idea of our route ahead of time, Richard often took the “road less traveled” and surprised us with some special sights and vistas we would never have seen our own. I can’t tell you how stress free it is to have a professional driver, safely navigating these Irish roads while you sit back in the comfort of this luxury van and just take it all in! Richard also had a knack for perfectly timed rest stops along the way and always had wonderful dining recommendations for us. He also took our interests into account when suggesting places to see while we explored the little towns and villages on our own. Richard was our guide for a 5 day adventure from Dublin to Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney and then Galway. Simply put, he was awesome. He was fun, energetic, and enthusiastic throughout the entire trip. He took our group of 6 all over, to the spots we had laid out in the itenerary in advance, and some other small places along the way that really gave us a sense of the country. Brendan was amazing, welcoming, and so friendly. Our large family was in Ireland for a wedding but wanted to travel to a small town of Clones to help learn more about our family history. Not the typical itinerary, but Brendan helped us get everywhere we were trying to go, even stops that “popped up” as we learned more being there about where our grandfather was from, worked, lived, etc. He accommodated all our requests and our group of 10 was very comfortable for the 2 day excursion. He offered many suggestions for other sites to stop at, restaurants to eat at, and gave great commentary of the modern history of Ireland. Luggage fit great and Brendan was prompt, timely, and made sure the van stayed clean.

As part of the group of five ladies, a senior one at that, I felt the need to add that I feel like I just took a 2 week course in Irish History and Culture! Richard was generous in sharing his vast knowledge for our enrichment and pleasure which resulted in my having had the trip of a lifetime. It was a Spiritual event for me.
