7 Day Tour inc. Northern Ireland

Day 1 – Pickup in Dublin Airport or Dublin City Centre travel north to Belfast.

Visit Newgrange, Trim Castle, Titanic Experience. Spend 1 night in Belfast in a Hotel or Airbnb.

Day 2 – Depart Belfast and travel to Bushmills.

Tour along through the Glens of Antrim and join up with the Causeway Coastal Route on the north coast, Visit Dunluce Castle, Carrigarede rope bridge, the Giants Causeway and other Game of Throne locations as desired. Stay in Bushmills overnight , the location of the  oldest Distillery on the Island of Ireland.

Day 3 – Head further west to Donegal.

Stop in the walled city of Derry on the way and take a walking tour along the top of the wall and get the history of a city that experienced huge turbulence for over 800 years. Onto Donegal Town for 2 nights,  along more of the Causeway route and stay overnight.

Day 4 – Tour through the Glenveagh National park.

Also taking in Slieve League, the highest cliffs in Ireland. Then back to Donegal and enjoy the Castle in the town and some traditional music and craic.

Day 5 – Travel south to Westport.

Visit the lovely seaside town of Bundoran then on to Sligo. You could also visit Mullaghmore and/ or Glenview Waterfall. Westport town is a very pretty town famous for its traditional music and great restaurants and pubs.

Day 6 – Explore the Doolough Valley en route to Galway.

Experience a Sheepdog demonstration and visit the famous village of Cong, film location for The Quiet Man.

Day 7 – Depart Galway and return to Dublin.

Heading south to the Cliffs of Moher through the Burren limestone moonscape. Then head up the motorway to Dublin stopping in Bunratty for late lunch.

Alternatively, you could head east from Galway and stop at Clonmacnoise monastic settlement dating back to the 5th century and Sean’s Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland.
